Two Days of Practical Wedding Photography Training
Our Liverpool wedding photography course is built around learning through photographing real couples on location.
You will practise directing your subjects, finding flattering light and choosing backgrounds that strengthen your photographs. With guidance as you shoot, you can experiment with new approaches and understand how to use them at future weddings.
The focus is on natural connection, thoughtful composition and images with personality. Whether you are building your first wedding portfolio or giving your existing work a fresh direction, there is space to learn, explore and develop your confidence.

Day One: Natural Light, Posing and Storytelling

Day one focuses on the foundations of expressive wedding portraits: light, connection, movement and clear direction.
Learn how to give couples simple guidance that helps them feel comfortable while creating photographs with a relaxed, natural feel.
During the day, we will explore how to:

Day Two: Creative Lighting and Evening Portraits

Develop your confidence as the light changes, exploring how to create atmosphere and bring a different look to your wedding photography.
This session moves towards evening and after-dark photography, working with the available conditions and light on the day. June evenings stay light late, so please allow for a late finish; the final schedule will be provided before the workshop.
We will explore how to:
Adapt your camera settings as daylight fades.
Photograph couples in evening light.
Work with available light and illuminated backgrounds.
Use reflections and surroundings creatively.
Balance your subjects with ambient light.
Explore off-camera flash for creative wedding portraits.

Build a Wedding Photography Portfolio in Liverpool
Liverpool provides the setting for two days of creative location photography, with opportunities to explore how architecture, textures and urban surroundings can contribute to your images.
